WOWJOTA (와우조타, the “Company”), the operator of the “Naetaro” service, values your personal information and complies with the Republic of Korea’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, and other applicable laws. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect and how we use and manage it.

2. Purpose of Use
- Identify members and maintain login sessions (via Kakao / Google OAuth)
- Provide personalized tarot interpretation using name, date of birth, concern, and mood as context
- Process paid product payments and manage purchase history
- Service improvement and statistical analysis (aggregated and de-identified)
- Prevent fraud, respond to incidents, and handle support inquiries
- Comply with legal obligations (e.g., retention of transaction records under the E-Commerce Act)
3. Retention and Disposal
As a rule, we delete personal information without delay once the purpose of collection has been fulfilled.
Retention periods
- Member account: upon withdrawal request, moved to deletion queue and fully erased within 30 days (30-day grace period for rollback and anti-abuse purposes)
- Payment/transaction records: 5 years as required by the E-Commerce Act
- Login/access logs: 3 months as required by the Protection of Communications Secrets Act
- Fraud/abuse records: 1 year
Disposal methods
- Electronic files: permanently deleted in an unrecoverable manner (DB row deletion and periodic backup overwrite)
- Printed copies (if any): shredded or incinerated
4. Disclosure to Third Parties
Social login
We support Kakao login and Google login. During sign-in we receive minimal information (email, name/nickname, profile identifier) from each platform. This is a flow where we receive information within the scope you consented to — not a disclosure of your information from us to Kakao or Google.

Web analytics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics to understand usage statistics and improve the service. Cookies may transmit anonymized usage data (visits and navigation, device/browser info, approximate region) to Google servers. We do not send information that directly identifies you, such as your name or email.

5. Processing Entrusted to External Providers (Payments)
For payment processing of paid products, we entrust processing to the following provider:

We do not directly collect or store sensitive payment data such as card number, expiration date, or CVC. All such data is handled within the PG’s secure payment widget.

You may exercise the following rights at any time:

- Request to suspend processing
- Withdraw membership and delete account
- Withdraw consent to collection and use
You can exercise these rights directly through the in-service settings (My Page), or by contacting master@wowjota.com. We respond within 7 business days.
7. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and local storage to maintain login sessions, remember language settings, and analyze usage. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features such as login may not work.
We may collect anonymized usage statistics (pages visited, session duration) to improve the Service. These are processed in a form that cannot identify individuals.

9. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes in law or our practices. We will announce material changes at least 7 days in advance via in-service notice or email.
